2020-21 Achievements

Pulaski County sports teams are doing an outstanding job of represening the Cougar Nation. As teams reach new heights, we will mention them here.

With only four athletes competing, the Lady Cougar indoor track and field team took sixth place in the state. Seen here are (from left) Madison Woolwine, Allyson Castle, Kelsey Arnold, Claire Dunnigan and Head Coach Sirak Ogbagabir.

The Cougar Boys squad took second place in the indoor track and field state meet.

With no seniors on the roster, the Lady Cougar basketball team finished their regular season undefeated, won the Region 4D championship for a second year in a row and finished as the state runner-up.

The Cougars sent several wrestlers to the Class 4A State Championships this season. Xavier Ramsey, Gavin Warner and Parker Midkiff each finished 6th in the state in their weight classes. Damion Fowlkes also made the state meet, but he was injured in his first match and could not continue.

The Lady Cougar JV basketball team (left) and Pulaski County Middle School Lady Cougar basketball team each finished their seasons with undefeated records.

Welcome to the web home of Pulaski County Sports. This is a fan driven page, sponsored by The Southwest Times, which will be attempting to record the history of the sports programs of the teams from Pulaski County schools, rec league and AAU/travel teams. If you see a gap in the information listed that you can help fill in, please contact david@southwesttimes.com so we can update that section. The varsity head coaches of each program will be the final approving authority in the event of conflicting information.
